By this point in the afternoon, Lillia was recharging with some fries after spending hours out in the waves, so this installment is pretty much all Zane. His reaction to the waves covered the whole spectrum of human emotions, from fear to exultation!
In between boogie boarding sessions Lillia built a sand castle with Nanny and Papa. In the tradition of previous summers, the kingdom was named “Ozgard” (we think this might be Ozgard #5). Zane is very serious at the beach. It’s hard to get him to look up for a photo! I did eventually snap a couple where you can actually see his face.

just fall.
There are many flowers blooming out in the garden right now, but hardly a moment to capture them with all of this rain! These photos didn’t come out how I imagined, but there is something about them that seems to evoke the gloomy weather of late…
Right now Lillia is: completely immersed in the world of Harry Potter; working on drawing human beings; feeling a lot of anxiety about her upcoming show — she’s in two numbers this year; and impatiently waiting for the town pool to open.
Right now Zane is: obsessed with trains, planes and automobiles; working on two-word sentences; eating a lot of berries; and just plain enjoying life.
