By this point in the afternoon, Lillia was recharging with some fries after spending hours out in the waves, so this installment is pretty much all Zane. His reaction to the waves covered the whole spectrum of human emotions, from fear to exultation!
In between boogie boarding sessions Lillia built a sand castle with Nanny and Papa. In the tradition of previous summers, the kingdom was named “Ozgard” (we think this might be Ozgard #5). Zane is very serious at the beach. It’s hard to get him to look up for a photo! I did eventually snap a couple where you can actually see his face.
Every year during February vacation (and sometimes other vacations) Lillia makes pretzels with Mémé (my mother-in-law). Here are some photos from this year’s bretzel-making day.
